Angus is a globally renowned creative pioneer, filmmaker and entrepreneur. In 2020, he launched the creative and technology studio, Preymaker, as a future facing collective of creatives, technologists and producers, who utilize an advanced custom cloud-based platform to create content for leading brands and forward-thinking companies. Angus was previously Chief Creative Officer of one of the most awarded creative studios in the world, The Mill, which he helped build for over two decades. He cultivated a roster of award-winning artists, directors and technologists, and played a key role establishing the studio’s creative partnerships across advertising, film, creative technology and new mediums.

Innovation is Angus’ specialty. Leveraging emerging technologies Angus formed an experimental lab where new ideas were generated utilizing the latest in A.I. machine learning, computer vision game engines and robotics. He was one of the chief architects in creating breakthrough IP such as The Blackbird®, a unique vehicle for automotive content that can create photoreal, computer generated vehicles of any make or model.

Blackbird® won a Cannes Innovation Gold Lion. Angus also was one of the key architects of Cyclops™, an AR toolkit used alongside Blackbird® in a collaboration with Epic Games and Chevrolet that kicked off the Game Developers Conference for Epic Games in 2017. It generated massive press coverage and ranked #1 on social news aggregator, Reddit. He continues to pioneer the use of game engines in media and entertainment, pushing what is possible and helping define the new world of real-time CGI. Recently, Angus has been working with teams of PhD researchers, utilizing computer vision and machine learning to create and develop next-generation systems for advertising, film and social media.

Angus directed PETA’s Cannes Gold and VES award-winning “98% Human,” pioneering photoreal computer generated creatures. The spot received a standing ovation led by Dr. Jane Goodall at the Great Apes Summit, paving the way for films such as The Jungle Book and The Lion King.

He has been recognized by Adweek as part of their Creative 100, which celebrates the most inspiring minds in marketing, media and culture. As a creative, he has led teams on campaigns for brands such as, Coca-Cola, AT&T, Heineken, Skittles, Johnnie Walker and Snickers, which have won awards including Cannes Lions, VES, D&AD, One Show, AICP, CLIO, LIA honors, and more.
